London OCAs Parade, 5 June

Message from Barrie Corfield, currently in Portugal with a very intermittent Internet service:

Following my previous post here on 19 April, I now understand that the format of the parade on Sunday 5th June has changed. Because of the roadworks in the City the band will not be playing. The formup is in the usual place (1030 in Lothbury), but after the wreath laying everybody will fall out and walk to the HAC where it will reform and continue as normal.

Kind regards,
Barrie

Amalgamation Celebration 9 July

2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the amalgamation of the Inns of Court Regiment ("The Devil's Own") and the City of London Yeomanry ("The Rough Riders") in 1961. Your Association is proposing to celebrate this by holding a Parade, with lunch or a Garden Party, on Saturday 9 July 2011 at Lincolns Inn.

To help us with organising the event we need to know the numbers intending to participate. Please let me know urgently via e-mail, post or telephone whether you will be attending.
